Making the funeral arrangements can seem like a foreign and daunting task. Please know that we are here to help in any way that we can. We are pleased to provide some tips and general guidelines that hopefully will make things a bit easier.. There are certain items and documents that director will be looking for you to provide. Please locate the following items: Birth certificate, Social Insurance Number, a copy of the Will ( if applicable ), marriage certificate, a photo and clothing ( depending on the type of arrangements you are making.
Give some thought to the type of services you would like: Cremation versus burial? Service and or visitation? People to be contacted . . . minister, musician, pallbearers ( if applicable ). Where will the visitation/service take place? Is there cemetery property?
We have provided a document below that may be helpful, particularily if you are making these arrangements from a distance. Please feel free to download and fill out the form and then fax or email it to us as per the instructions on the top of the document. Some of the questions may seem a bit odd but its all part of what we require to register the death with the province. Once we receive this information we can proceed and a director will be in contact with you shortly.
