Obituary for Ruth Mary Reinhardt

Ruth Mary Reinhardt
Reinhardt, Ruth Mary
August 16, 1933 – May 14, 2017
With family by her side, Ruth passed away peacefully at Golden Birches in Blind River on May 14, 2017 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Fanny (nee MacDonald) Reinhardt, siblings Phyllis (Ed) Robinson, Don (Janet) Reinhardt, Max (Marilyn) Reinhardt and William Reinhardt.
Ruth lived an extraordinary life, graciously sharing her time and always giving selflessly to others. She was a loyal Aunt, friend, neighbour, colleague and member of the community who was always willing to lend a helping hand. In her early years, Ruth was a gifted athlete, excelling in many sports such as baseball, curling and bowling. She spent the majority of her working years at the Bank of Nova Scotia in Blind River where she retired after 40 years of dedicated service. Although Ruth never had children of her own, she was a mother to so many. She was a special Aunt to many nieces and nephews and a significant influence in the lives of The Late Kevin Reinhardt (Carole), Ian Reinhardt (Stacie) and Kelly Reinhardt (Dennis Legault). Ruth’s welcoming demeanor, generosity, sense of humor and family stories will be sadly missed by all.
Friends and family may call at Menard Funeral Home in Blind River on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 7pm-9pm and on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 1pm until the time of service at 3pm. Burial at Hillside Cemetery, Blind River to follow service. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, gratefully accepted. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home www.menardfh.com
