Clark Wong
Clark Wong was born on March 23, 1930 in Hoy Sun, Hen Boli, China and died on September 11, 2017 in Blind River, Ontario. Survived by his wife Mabel of Blind River and his sons William of Mississauga, Darrell (Vicki) of Mississauga, Russell (Poinciana) of Calgary, AB and Randall of Kingston. Clark is also survived by his grandchildren Christina, Rinelle, Curtis, Dana, Bennett and Mathew and his sister May of Rosedale, N.Y. Left to mourn are numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great-great niece. He leaves his best friend Violet Chan of Edmonton, AB, sister in-law Emily Gee and brother in-law George, Calgary, AB, sister in-law Lai and many cousins. Clark was predeceased by his parents and his brother Martin.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff Dr Lenka Snajdrova and physiotherapists at the North Shore Health Network, the Handicap Bus drivers and Pastor Marc for prayers spoken over Clark every Sunday.
In lieu of flowers the family appreciates donations to a charity of your choice or the Alzheimer’s Society.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 7pm until 9pm at the Menard Funeral Home in Blind River, 705-356-7151. A service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 starting at 11am in the Menard Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Blind River.
