MacDonald, Elizabeth E.
December 31, 1915 – February 9, 2018
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury on February 9, 2018. Elizabeth MacDonald in her 103rd year, beloved wife of the late James ( 1994 ) for 55 years. Loving mother of Helen Ayers ( Neil ) of Sudbury and Judy Truss of Oakville. Special Gram to Marnie Ayers ( Everett ), Craig Ayers ( Lorna ), Ziska Truss-Schwab ( Steve ) and the late Wendy Ayers ( 1972 ). Devoted G.G. to Madison Zoepel, Evan Ayers and Zaiden Schwab. Dear daughter of the late Alfred Shaw and Elizabeth Cullis and sister to Joyce Poupore ( late Archie ) and the late Aubrey Shaw ( late Margaret ) all of Thessalon. Sister-in-law of Grayce MacDonald ( late Ivan ) of North Carolina. Betty was born in Thessalon but spent most of her life in Sault Ste. Marie. After Jim retired they returned to Little Rapids until his passing when she moved to Sudbury to be closer to family. There will be a Celebration of Life in the spring with interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Little Rapids. Donations to the Little Rapids Heritage Park Museum or the charity of your choice gratefully accepted.
