Obituary for Cynthia Lisa June "Cindy" Sayers (Sayers)

SAYERS, Cynthia Lisa June “Cindy”
June 12, 1962 – November 13, 2022
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mom, sister, auntie and friend with family by her side, in her 61st year. Best friend and loving mother of Billy Joe “BJ” Sayers. Sister of Robin Sayers, Kim Patrakka (Pekka) and Anna Patrakka (Pertti). Auntie of Peter, Marko, Sierra (Brandon), Cheyenne (Jon), Monty (Trent), Tiffani and Darius. Reunited with her late brother Billy Joe and her beloved parents Richard and Phyllis (nee Vincent). She will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Cindy loved her family and friends, especially visiting with and cooking them delicious food. Her home was always open to anybody and nobody left on an empty stomach. She was known for her love of the holidays and always decorated and cooked for the occasion.
“We know you are blessed and God has a special place in heaven for you. Don’t you worry about us down here, we know you’ll be watching from above”.
Mom, I will forever miss our morning and after work calls. Baamaapii, we will see you again.
The family wishes to thank her health care teams at SAH and NSHN-Blind River for their compassion and care. Your outpouring of love and support will not be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Mississauga First Nation Community Hall, 154 Village Rd, MFN on Monday, November 21, 2022 beginning at 11am until time of service on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 11:30am. Father Clarence officiating. Interment at Sunset Cemetery, Iron Bridge to follow.
