Obituary for Debra Ann Bissaillion (Bissaillion)

BISSAILLION, Debbie
Sunrise July 31, 1959 – Sunset April 14, 2023
Our beautiful mother has begun her journey after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed with grace and dignity surrounded by her family at NSHN-Blind River. Loving and giving mother of Michelle Martin (Isadore Day), Roxanne Pitchenese (Miles) and Danielle Bissaillion (Eric Bordeleau) and special mom/grams of Alexza Bella Lee Bissaillion. Proud and doting Gramma Deb of Nicholas Wilfred Cada, Carter Joe O’Donnell and Eleanor Irene Cada. Sister of Sharon Boyer (late Barry), Heather Pelky (late Harold), Wendy Imbeau (Grant), Betsy Bissaillion, John Bissaillion (Alice), Mark Bissaillion (Michelle), Jeffrey Bissaillion (Debbie), Bob Bissaillion (Leslie) and James Bissaillion. Debbie will be met on her journey by her parents Windy and Babe Bissaillion as well as her son in law Nick Aaron Cada and all her other relations. She will be lovingly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Debbie was known for her sense of humour and making sure those around her were happy and laughing.
She was a grass roots, salt of the earth type of woman who was known to try to shut down the highway a time or two.
She was a warrior and a survivor of the residential school genocide.
