With great sadness, the family of Dorothy Margaret Boville (nee Chevis) announces her passing on July 20th, 2021 at the Sault Hospital, with family by her side. We take comfort in knowing that she is at peace in Heaven with Jesus, and those who went before her, including our dad Jack and our sister Cathy. Mom leaves behind a family who will forever miss her - children Brian(Sherrill), Arden(Judy), Doreen(John), Lynn(Sherine) and Angela(Tony); grandchildren Laura(Scott), Stephanie, Jared(Laura Jane), Jonathan(Amber), Kendra(Jared), Jackie(Jesse), Bethany, Jocelyn, Aaron, Luke and Trent; and great grandchildren Hudson, Timothy, Malakai, Titus, Eliza, Magdalynn, Adriel, Seth, Lochlynn and Everley.
Mom will also be greatly missed by her best friend and sister Lorraine, sisters-in-law Muriel and Sharon and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Ruth Chevis, brothers Cecil, Robert, Thomas and Ronald and sisters Bernice and Kathleen.
We would like to thank the staff of the North Shore Health Network (Blind River site) and Golden Birches Terrace for their care of Mom over the past 2 years.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beggs Funeral Home in Thessalon with visitation on Thursday August 5th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Mom’s birthday, Friday August 6th, 10:00 a.m. at the Thessalon Bible Chapel. The Thessalon Bible Chapel will be open at 9:30 a.m. for anyone who would like to meet with the family prior to the service. Interment to follow immediately after the service at the Arnill Cemetery in Iron Bridge.
