HURLEY, Frances “Fran”
October 2, 1932 - September 30, 2022
It is with deep sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of our Mother, Frances Hurley, just two days shy of her 90th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Bert Hurley. Loving mother to Mike Hurley (Peggy), Brenda Hurley, Ron Hurley (Bernadette), Lori Collis (Dave) and Lois Ross (Dale). Grandmother to Christena Hurley, Jill-Anne Woods (Alex), Joseph Hachey (Genevieve), Michael Hurley (Beth), Jessy-Lee Hurley and Hannah Ross (Bryan). Great Grandmother to Kaylee, Oaklynn and Dani. Daughter of the late William and late Christena Osborne of Bruce Station. Sister of the late Janet Smith (late Clifford), late Angus Osborne (late Doris), late Margaret Martineau (late Garnet), late Charles Osborne (late Genny), and the late Mitchell Osborne (late June). Frances will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
We thank all the nursing staff and PSWs on Spruce at Algoma Manor and an extra special thanks to Kayla and Mary-Ann for taking such good care of Mom. Also, thank you to Dan and Ali for their care and compassion.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at Beggs Funeral Home, 175 Main St., Thessalon, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 beginning at 2pm with a light luncheon to follow. Reverend Nancy Ferguson officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Algoma Manor Charitable Association, or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
