It is with sadness we announce the passing of our brother Jackie Eldon McCaig at Sault Area Hospital on November 1, 2020 at the age of 72.
Born on Cockburn Island to Ruth (nee McLeod) and Jack McCaig, both predeceased. He was the eldest brother of Mark (Carol) of Thessalon and Lynn (Diane) of Espanola. Uncle to Amanda (Rob), Aaron (Joanne), Colin (Brittany) and Caitlynn (Mitchell). Great Uncle to Miles, Drake, Dean, Eva and Emmett.
The family would like to extend a special thank you for the incredible support and love extended to Jackie by his caregivers at the Lake Street Group Home and the staff of Community Living Algoma. As a family, we are so proud to acknowledge that you were in so many ways Jackie’s family.
We would like to thank the team of Palliative Care Physicians and Nurses on 3B and 1B at Sault Area Hospital.
