Obituary for Lynda Charleen Ethier (Pilon)

ETHIER, Lynda Charleen.
With very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lynda on Sunday, September 26th, at the age of 56.
Lynda met the love of her life, Richard Ethier at the age of 16 and married him shortly thereafter. Lynda and Richard celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary this past July. Lynda’s love will live on in the hearts of her much-loved sons Rick Ethier (Stephanie Bacile) and Kody Ethier (Robin Stevenson). Her sons were truly her pride and joy, they were her entire world, the boys undoubtedly felt the same about her. In 2015, Lynda was blessed with a beautiful grandson Ashton, who she adored with all her heart. She will be remembered by her step grandchildren Keegan, AJ and Kiera. Lynda’s parents Kathleen Mariani and Larry Pilon (Karin) will forever grieve the loss of their beautiful daughter and first-born child. Lynda’s little sister and best friend Karen Guttin (Mike) will forever cherish the years of love and laughter they shared. Lynda and Karen did everything together including planning the birth of their children in hopes that they could raise their families together creating great memories. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces Kathleen Ippolito and Tina Ippolito (Alex Capasso).
Our family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her first born son Justin (1986), grandparents Ben Chartrand (1982), Claire Chartrand (2021) and step father Nello Mariani (2019). She will be remembered by her mother-in-law Mary Ethier.

In keeping with Lynda’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Blind River where she will be laid to rest with her son Justin. As an expression of sympathy, we ask that you show an act of kindness to those you love in Lynda’s memory. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home, 72 Lakeside Ave. Blind River.

Lynda was not blessed with a long healthy life but she was blessed with love. She will be sorrowfully missed and always remembered by anyone who had the pleasure to know her. She was a kind hearted, soft spoken woman with a beautiful heart. She loved all of her family with all of her heart. She was never afraid to say “I love you”. The love we have for her will never waiver and she will be forever missed. Until we meet again Lynda, we love you.
