Obituary for Gail Martin
MARTIN, Gail (nee Fogal)
We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother on Sunday, November 20th, 2022 at the Sault Area Hospital. Mom was a devoted partner to Eugene Martin for many years. She was a loving mother to Terry Ableson (Eric), Cindy Bird (Randy) and Brenda Laderoute (late Don). Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Tammy Berry (late Rob), Jordan Bird (Katie), Miranda Ableson (Derek), Jason Bird (Nancy), Nathan Ableson, Michael Laderoute (Chelsea) and Darren Laderoute. Nanny loved and adored her great-grandchildren Jayme, Logan, Benjamin, Riley, Addie, Grady, Isla, Felix and her Angel Everly.
Mom was the daughter of Reg and Edna Fogal and sister to the late Peggy, late Audrey, late Elaine, Brenda (Ron) and John (late Joyce).
A short service will be held at Begg’s Funeral Home in Thessalon on Monday, November 28, 2022 beginning at 12pm. Light refreshments to follow.
Donations may be made to the North Shore Health Network, Thessalon site.
