Clarke, Malbourne Frederick “Mal” and Clarke, Ruth - Ruth passed away on February 13, 2015 at the Blind River District Health Centre at the age of 70 and Malbourne passed away on March 18, 2015 also at the Blind River District Health Centre at the age of 71 years. They moved to Blind River several years ago and together shared their love of animals, nature and boating. Out of respect for their wishes, cremation has taken place and a ceremony to celebrate their lives together will be held at a later date in Southern Ontario. Memorial contributions to the SAD (Society for Animals in Distress) organization (705-461-3197) in Elliot Lake would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Menard Funeral Home in Blind River.
