To the family of Dave Hubbert: As President of the Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent, I extend condolences to all of Dave's family on behalf of our 57 club members. We were honoured that he chose to join our club in October 2015 but are saddened that he has left us so soon. His quiet but interested presence at our club meetings was always appreciated. While ill health and treatments kept him from many meetings, we were so pleased to see him at almost every meeting this past fall. Thus we were so saddened to learn of his passing at this time. Our club supports the Sleeping Children Around the World organization that provides bed kits to children in developing countries. Two bed kits will be donated in memory of Dave. In about 6 months a photo of the children who receive these bed kits will be sent to Sue whose contact information has been obtained. We will miss Dave. He was a fine Kiwanian.
